Sounds like another shot at a Blake/Nnaji type player (still pulling for Nnaji for stick around and put it together).

Nnaji is more athletically gifted. Excited to see his progression this off-season. He’s an example of a freshman who was allowed to be a freshman. Don’t view Yalaho as recruiting over Nnaji.

"Amir (Primo) Spears, a 6-3 guard, spent a year at a basketball prep school outside Baltimore before joining Duquesne in 2021-22. As a freshman, he averaged 12.7 points per game for the Dukes, who lost its final 17 games of the season and finished 6-24. Spears was one of seven Duquesne players opting for the transfer portal, signing with Georgetown in April 2022.

Spears "gives us another physical defensive-minded guard who can make the right passes," said head coach Patrick Ewing."

So he goes 1-18 in conference games in the A10 and follows that up with a 2-20 in conference in the Big East. Is that an improvement?

I know correlation isn't causation, but this guy has been around enough losing streaks to be a sure fire kiss of death!
