That score mostly reflects that UMass simply didn't show up today.
We just have to play the game our way and not worry about what Richmond does.

We must have a mindset to spill blood, break hearts, and break bones. That score mostly reflects that UMass simply didn't show up today.

Definitely make more baskets than our opponents and, if not, "spill blood, break hearts, and break bones" on the way out.We must have a mindset to spill blood, break hearts, and break bones.
And make more baskets than our opponent.
All blood and bones must be left on the court. And we will. On a separate note - UMASS looked pi$$ poor today. I thought this would have been a closer game - but they went softer than a eunuch today.Definitely make more baskets than our opponents and, if not, "spill blood, break hearts, and break bones" on the way out.
Won't do 'em much good now71-38? Someone needs to send UMass some balls.
Keep talking dirty to meI've already written the St. Louis thread. Sorry Richmond, your time is done.
Fernandes only played 11 games all year, 4 in-conference, and none of the last 15, including our game with them. He's a talented PG so it's been a big loss for UMass and explains why they were near the bottom of the A10 all year.I didn’t see it mentioned yet that UMass’s leading scorer, Fernandes, did not play today. They still looked REALLY BAD with that taken into account. Like they were playing a different sport bad.
Oh teh gears turning in my depraved mind.....Now that GMU is playing Richmond we can make comments like something something not getting caught in a spider's web.
Any real signs that VJ is ready? Has he been seen in uniform? been in the layup line? Seems like Ticket hit those sorts of milestones before returning to the lineup. If VJ is cleared, I expect coach to be cautious about mixing him in for Game 1, but then to use him more in Game 2 (when fresh legs will be an asset)
