Airport is really close to downtown and arena, which are walkable from each other. You can just uber to/from the airport and not have to rent a car.

As someone in the comments pointed out, by adding two conference games, aren't we removing the opportunity for a better non-conference game?
The flip side is that schools aren't scheduling those games, either because they don't want to or they can't.
I'm all for 2 additional conference games if they make them bracketbuster-like in that those games aren't identified until early Feb so that teams can play a conference game that helps their NET/RPI

I agree- if they make the 2 conference games based off who may need an extra quality win, making a 2nd or 3rd matchup in the regular season can only help. But to your point, if there aren't enough "quality teams" say top 100 NET in the league, then it won't really help the league overall if that makes sense.

We always get an allotment of visitor tickets for every game. It will be based on what UT gives Mason, but I have to think they'll be able to give 25 or 50 tickets.

And of course we all know a guy who might know someone who can help make sure the Mason allotment happens

Been closed for 13 years, but really longer than that since it closed and was reopened briefly by a different owner. But, yes, Regas was special.

Schulz Brau Brewing and Yee Haw Brewing are 2 good options as well. A little farther from campus (5-10 minutes), but really cool spots that should be open early on a Tuesday.

how does this make the league a true multi bid league?
playing second games against the bottom half of the league hurts the at large selection process

my idea
1) 14 game round robin regular season
2) 2 game in season tournament - (1,2,3), (4,5,6), etc
3) 1 rivalry game

17 game regular season
free up 1 more regular game for OOC
if they need 18 A-0 games for financial/revenue purposes
and in a challenge game

highest ranked team chooses who they want to play
then next highest ranked team chooses, etc. etc.

This is only a change for the women's team, correct? The men already had an 18 game conference schedule.

yes but the men play some type of 18 game randomized schedule where you end playing some of the leagues worst teams more than once - those last 4 games could be used to define and rank the best teams in the conference for either NCAA large bids or NIT bids

Hoping Austin Peay and NJIT will be the worst games of the schedule. I suspect we might have 1 or 2 more cupcakes that we havent' heard as we usually have one right before conference play.

Hopefully the 4th team for the Jacksonville tourney will be a good one.
