i bet the game will have announcers discussing other topics besides the game and will call Mason the “Colonials” at least once. Probably mispronounce names too.The plus side: actual ESPN. The minus: the coveted 10pm slot lol.
I don't know if that's true, but let's also remember that we haven't been to the NCAA tournament in over a decade. Until that changes, we need to show some humility. This is close to the best party we're likely to be invited to at the moment (aside from whichever strong midmajor it was dropping out and leaving us with Tarrleton as a replacement team). If we want to get back into the nicer ESPN events, we have to win something first.Let's remember this tournament is a DP left over we couldn't get out of

Honestly if we can’t beat BC, we don’t belong in a better tournament and most likely won’t be competing for an NCAA bid again so it’s all moot.
With covid, hopefully, being less of an issue, I doubt we'll see a repeat of that kind of scheduling.I just hope we're smarter with scheduling around this tournament compared to last year's tournament where we played 5 games in 7 days and the guys were clearly gassed. Even though we'll have more depth this year, 5 games in a week is a lot for any team!

May be, but as the season progressed, there was a lot of crowding games in to make up for covid issues.COVID had nothing to do with it. English mistook his players for professionals and said in the coaches show it was a mistake to load up the early schedule with so many games.

Some of it was JMU and Maryland being inflexible about scheduling, and Kim really really didn't want to turn down the Maryland game. I think coach learned from it, he's mentioned it several times. That was true, but the early season tournament fatigue was a different issue.
True. Got you. That was true, but the early season tournament fatigue was a different issue.
Surely this is the opponent that motivates the casual fans to come out and pack the Patdome."George Mason will host Queens as part of its 22-23 non-conference schedule."
"The date is set for November 26th at EagleBank Arena."
