Didn't want to make another thread but was thinking about this, this morning.
We all have spoken at length about PG play being the key to success. Obviously its early and we had 2 weaker opponents and 1 strong opponent but so far here are the stats from our 3 point guards:
Polite
23 points (7.7 ppg)
12 assists (4 assists per game)
4 turnovers (1.3 turnovers per game)
Singleton
7 points (2.3 ppg)
6 assists (2 assists per game)
7 turnovers (2.3 turnovers per game)
Dinkins
2 points (1 point a game)
1 turnover (.5 turnovers a game)
1 assist (.5 assists per game)
Obviously super early with Dinkins as he has only played 19 minutes compared to Singleton who has played 34 minutes and Polite who has played 83 minutes.
Based off what I am seeing though, it appears that Polite has really taken the job and been impressive. Singleton's turnover numbers worry me and he also came in yesterday and made 2 quick turnovers. Dinkins missed Friday's game, but it appears that he can provide some backup minutes as the season goes on.
