I like VT a lot, Young is a helluva coach … the tone of my post was more a reflection that Maryland just melted in crunch time, and that with every L our win over them looks worse. Was hoping they’d turn out to be pretty good but not seeing it.

Quite a few joined them tonight as graduate forward Chuba Ohams scored 20 points and grabbed 22 rebounds (both career-highs) to lead Fordham to a 68-46 win over St. Francis College.

With the win, Fordham improves to 6-3 on the year while St. Francis falls to 0-7.

The 20/20 game was the first for a Fordham men's basketball player since Damon Lopez scored 29 points and grabbed 20 rebounds against Hofstra on December 5, 1991."

There was a year when we lost to Mount St. Mary’s and they were something like 2-8 to start the season because they played 10 road games in a row. The AD said they had to do it to survive as a D1 program. They wound up winning their conference and going to the tournament that year.
