Just received an e-mail. As of 3:00 PM today (12/19) tickets are still available so reports of "sellouts" are in fact incorrect.

This year tickets will be sold on a single game basis only; however, you can purchase as many or as few games as you would like at one time. Tickets will be available for purchase online, simply log in to your My Mason Account. You MUST be logged in to your account in order to see available seats.
Tickets for men’s basketball games are priced at $25 each.
At this time only tickets to home games through mid-January will be made available. See below for a list of games that will be on sale. The remainder of the season will go on sale at a later date.
Those who are uncomfortable attending games in-person at this time may opt out for the 2020-21 season. You will maintain your status as a season ticket holder. Seat locations will carry over to the 2021-22 season. You can still support the Patriots while watching from home but “attend” games with the purchase of a fan cutout.
The Athletic Ticket Office will not be open for in-person transactions. If you have any questions, or to purchase tickets by phone, please call us at 703-993-3270.

The fact we can’t sell 250 tickets at face value is very telling on the state of the program, covid aside.

We beat a d2 school by 1 (by luck) and let a random skinny kid on howard drop 23 on us. Then Covid hit and we're out for 3 weeks when we could have played a doodoo school this past Wednesday. This program is in the gutter. I'm still going to try my best though to make fire videos of them, they better win these games coming up.

Saturday's e-mail from Mason stated that "a limited number of tickets have been released to the general public" for the VMI game. Tickets were previously unavailable for purchase Thursday and Friday.

Does that mean that Mason reached 250 seats sold during the pre-sale for season ticket holders and added availability to the general public?

I guess we'll find out tomorrow when the attendance figure is released.

Would be breaking governors mandate if so. Guarantee they didn’t sell out and lied about it. No way we would skirt rules and add more tickets than allowed

"Mason Athletics is excited to be able to host up to 250 patrons at our basketball games this season. The ability to host fans at our events this year is based on current guidance from state and local health officials. As we have developed this plan to host a limited number of spectators, our guiding principle has been to support the health, safety, and well-being of the Mason community."
