They don't announce the schedule officially until everything in terms of dates are official. Sometimes they know who they are playing but they have to confirm a date or some other logistic. As soon as they can they announce it, the tidbits that people hear on here and elsewhere are usually as things are finalized, but it doesnt mean the whole schedule is finalized.

This is my bad. The Radford game is out. Louisville is for sure 100% happening, game 2. I'm also hearing a home game w Ga Southern

I sure hope your right, and you most likely are. Just wondering why some games are announced and not others. Like no date and time is set with Auburn yet, right? But we officially know its happening.

I also just had a thought, I am so glad Mason was able to have a 20 win season. I used to think it was great to tell recruits, but its also great to tell P5 schools. Hey look at us, we will win 20+ plus games and are in a decent conference., there is no risk playing us.

Agreed. Things change. Years ago, my friends brother played basketball for Bridgewater College and said we were supposed to play them in an exhibition game... which never happened.

No idea with Auburn, but also sometimes date and times have to be finalized based on TV availability as well. Probably more times than dates, but regardless the point remains.
