I'm assuming Drew felt bad about forcing the kid out and there is probably some common connection between our staff and theirs. I'd like to think the Valpo staff would have actively helped in finding him a new place (or maybe not since they may have been hoping he went juco and ended up with them 1 year later).

Actually, they were trying to convince Relvao to go to prep school and stay committed to Valpo for the 2016 class. Fortunately, he wanted to go to college now and we had a scholarship to offer.

I'm very pleased with the way things worked out. I'm sure Crosby, Jackson, and Gilbert are all great players but as stated 63496 times already, our new guys have shown swag and toughness since game 1.

I agree. In the end, giving Paulsen his choice of recruits essentially a year early has already paid off and puts us on track to make a move much sooner than I would have predicted.

FYI: It's Kevin Dorsey. Pretty sure Ken Dorsey played QB in the NFL.

Pretty telling that we're not listed by either of Paul VI's starting guards from last season. Both Dorsey and Curtis Jones are considering vcu, but not us.

Guess they owe us one from when Ernie Nestor signed Mike Hargett (RIP) out of Richmond back in the 80s.
