Hill had a 24.3 assist % last year at Ball State, so he projects as interesting *in emergency break glass here* type of guy.Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but neither Hill or Long have played PG at the college level and neither really project as a PG.
If nothing else it shows Hill is a willing passer, which bodes well for a team with so many new players. Last thing this group needs is somebody hogging the ball and pissing off everyone else.Hill had a 24.3 assist % last year at Ball State, so he projects as interesting *in emergency break glass here* type of guy.
Kory Mincy is going to be PG1. I have no doubt about that.
Long has played some PG like minutes from the footage I saw. Think of him more like a Maddox. Maddox would bring the ball up maybe 3-4 times a game.Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but neither Hill or Long have played PG at the college level and neither really project as a PG.
If this is how the PG rotation shakes out, I think it could really help BOC develop even further as a defender.I think Kaufman nailed it.
Mincy will start at PG, with O'Connor as our PG2 (sliding over from SG when Mincy takes a breather). Hill can be a secondary ball handler when he's on the court, keeping the ball moving.
BOC and Long will likely have to fill JB’s defense/dirty work role because they’re both tough, experienced guys who know Tony’s system and can guard the better wings. If this is how the PG rotation shakes out, I think it could really help BOC develop even further as a defender.
He came from UMass-Lowell with a good reputation as a defender, and I think he played really good off ball perimeter defense, at times, last year. If he has more of an opportunity to focus on that part of his game he could take a step forward and become an elite defender in the A-10.
Looks like we are getting Watson from DSU! Fantastic get!
Was thinking Woody as well.Trying to get a grasp on this guy's game. He only had 2 blocks last year, so he seems to be more of a wing than a PF? Similar to Woody Newton?
He looks quick and smooth in his game film, and love to see another good FT shooter.
Welcome, Kaseem!

When I saw his footage and stats, I thought the same thing. Appears to be the 6'9 wing / athletic guard type for the wing. I liked his game a lot. I never thought I would be excited to get a MEAC kid but talent is blurred across conferences and if you do that well like Kaseem did at Delaware State, no reason why it won't translate up to the A10.Was thinking Woody as well.
Its a projection - so we'll have to see if it comes true. Hopefully it does. He fills a need.Looks like we are getting Watson from DSU! Fantastic get!
Yes definite wing player. Will probably be the depth piece at the 4 behind Dola.Trying to get a grasp on this guy's game. He only had 2 blocks last year, so he seems to be more of a wing than a PF? Similar to Woody Newton?

He's a hybrid foward. A guy who can score from any place on the floor. He can post up, face up and break opponents down off the dribble, face up and hit a 15 feet, catch and shoot, excellent passer, excellent cutter to the basket.Yes definite wing player. Will probably be the depth piece at the 4 behind Dola.

Decommits from Georgetown
maybe our AD can help here
The way I view the roster build is that it is basically a camp invite - think you are good enough to step up and start/play significant minutes in the A10? Come try - best 8 will play. Rest we will help find you a place next year, and if you aren't in the rotation at all you can redshirt.where we stand - roster wise
2 returning scholarship players
2 incoming freshmen
8 incoming transfers
2 walk ons
1) are there enough minutes to go around? - for at least the first 12?
2) any more transfers coming?
