They laid the biggest egg in the second half I think I’ve seen from this team since that Georgia Southern loss when they hanged 96 points on us and didn’t even need to take a 3 in the second half.

After vcu game it was win in DC or nit. They never had a shot at NCAA after that loss. vcu is good wasn’t a bad loss but just don’t have any signature wins.

As 2 seed probably not. They aren’t going to get home game either way. Is what it is, this game really did not matter other than confidence and pride.

Todays game As far as post season implications it’s irrelevant. They better figure out how to pass the ball or it’s 1 and down in DC.

Like I said before, they are tired and banged up. Time for Tony to figure out how to get these guys back interested. This will be toughest coaching he’ll have to do all year. O’Connor has all but disappeared 2.5 weeks ago.

He’s 4-5 now in his career. Maybe we should turn him into a Tim Burns role the last few games: toss him in for 2-3 minutes, try to get him a few open corner 3s and see if he can knock 1 or 2 down and then put him back on the bench to reload?

We were a 7 seed in 2009 with a record of 22-10. @ East Carolina probaby was our best OOC win but nothing stands out looking at the schedule.

I think we might be looking at something similar tbh.
