This team is 4-1.

Exactly what..... 2 players (3 if you count Dinkins since he hasn't played much)..... have played together prior to these past 5 games?

Oh...and there's a whole new coaching staff, headed up by a beloved, but yet still rookie head coach?

Take the win. Enjoy it and stop complaining.
Agree - but without being ale to complain - half the people here would have nothing to do during the day.

Looks like our frosh PG continues to outplay our senior...by a large margin.
If this keeps up RP is probably going to see his minutes dwindle rapidly.

Jesus… We finally win an MTE game, have a legit star player who drains a clutch shot to win a game and first 3 posts on here are complaints. SDSU isn’t Kansas, but they’re not a bad team either. They’ve made a bunch more tournaments than we have recently. Can’t we just enjoy the win and watching a team grow without the “we’re not top 4 material” posts yet? My god, there are some miserable people on here.
I agree we should feel pretty good about this team. More importantly, they've played less than 10 games as a group (we are a portal team, remember) and they are still gelling. The stuff that used to piss me off under KE (laziness on D, overall lack of toughness, the boring feed the ball to Oduro offense, etc.) is a thing of the past. We have a homegrown coach who is restoring the old Mason toughness, and he's apparently killed it with the portal in his first season as a head coach.

Could we finish bottom half of A10? Of course, we could. But IMHO we could finish in the top four too. And as far as I'm concerned, as long as we continue to play like we are right now, I will be happy either way.

I have a buddy who went to Flagler, I knew the facilities weren't the greatest but man, that gym is budget. Very similar to watching the USMNT team right now play at a sh*thole stadium with awful field conditions in Trinidad.

GIVING DAY 2023
Let's all be glad that, at worst, we only spent money on a poor quality stream and didn't spend the time and money to go to this game in person, in an MTE which we haven't won a game in since something like 2019, in a a poor excuse for a high school gym.

None of us would be that dumb...
I’d trade places to spend a few days traveling between Sawgrass and St Augustine. The gym might suck but Flagler is beautiful.

I’ll likely be down there in a few weeks for the Gator Bowl.

Defense will win lots of games. (See UVA)

Flagler was a women’s college for a very long time, so it makes sense that their athletics facilities aren’t the best. I’ve presented at two conferences on their campus and agree it’s a beautiful area, but it’s also a pretty tiny school.
