Would have to agree here, I think more content is coming out today and they’re giving tours as well. Comparing us to Tennessee? Well....
I work at Tennessee, and know how quickly that little clip was thrown together. It's not difficult or time consuming. Hire an intern to exclusively do more video work (or hire your friendly neighborhood GiantKiller team).
I struggle to see how our overall Men's Basketball social media presence can be perceived as anything other than poor.

I think it all looks great and now we can put up or shut up on the facilities and recruiting argument.

My only small gripe is that we’ve seen a lot of these pictures already. I also would have preferred to hear from players perspective vs. the staff.

Ghuhh... Where's the popcorn machine and soda fountain? Where's the pimply-faced snack bar attendant? No Dolby®? Sheeeesh...
...stupid star logo. :disappointment:

I'm surprised they didn’t use a projector, the film room TV is kind of small.

But it is a step in the right direction.

We just finished up filming a MTV Cribs style video with Calixte and also recorded an audio interview that will be on our next podcast dropping Tuesday.

We took plenty of pictures as well, the upgrades are awesome. I really don’t have any true negatives. I agree the TV looks small in pictures but it’s at least 85in and is huge for the room.

Glad to see they stepped up with the video. You’re able to get a much better idea of how the rooms flow into each other that I would have never gotten from the still pics. It really made it more impressive.

Also glad to see people in the department still read the message boards. ;)

All jokes aside, this video makes one realize how amazing this project really is. I didn't know what to expect, but wow. Can't imagine this wouldn't help not only recruiting, but fund raising as well.

The video alone makes me feel my money is going to the intended target I wanted it to and it makes me want to donate more. In fact, I am increasing my yearly contribution. Fantastic work to all involved, the AD, PC and anyone else who contributed.

Can’t get over how much I liked the locker rooms. Putting out some videos tmrw. Also something I noticed today was “George Mason” branded more both on the new adidas gear Calixte was wearing and the back wall of the film room. New jersey’s!?

Is the locker room in EBA or the practice facility?

It would make more sense in the practice facility in my opinion. Players want to chill and lounge after practice. And you watch film at practice, not at half time.

EBA, the practice facility isn't close to finished yet so I assume they will get new lockers there also.

From the email that was sent out:

“The next step in the Basketball Excellence Plan, Phase II, will consist of complete design and construction of an addition to the Basketball Practice Facility. The scope of the project includes adding practice facility locker rooms, training and sports medicine performance areas and offices for the coaching staffs.”

Looking forward to the By George tour coming out soon. I’ve been at some coaching clinics where vendors have lockers on display. You can see that each locker has an outlet for charging items which is great. I’m wondering if they have ventilation in any of the drawers that help dry equipment/shoes - those are awesome and help reduce the locker room smell. Also, wondering what the seating is like for players in the actual locker room are? Stools or new chairs?

I’m kind of a equipment nerd, so I realize this isn’t probably interesting for most.
