Goodbye Keyshawn Hall

No, a college sports board is no place to post your derogatory opinions about trans people. As I said, feel free to leave us … unless you can reset and get back to realistic sports discussion.
Nothing derogatory was said about trans people. Never said the decision was wrong. Never said it should not have happened.

I theorized what could happen based on the changes.

Huge difference. You hid the post/evidence and then made defamatory claims tarnishing my reputation.

Thank you.

Stop playing the victim, you made stupid and inappropriate comments that the people who run this board have consistently and clearly explained will not be tolerated.

He’s probably making a little more than he was at Mason, all things considered, but I doubt the increase was as much as he expected when he went into the portal.
I think this is a fair estimation of the situation. Regardless of how much more he’s getting, I doubt it’s close to the amount he thought he would get.

You twice posted about an unrealistic scenario that our former player should claim to be non-binary to get a good deal at a big school. You sir, are a bigot. I have the receipts. You are now banned.

Before we make too much out of this, the Big East has 11 teams, the Big 12 has 14 so there must be 2 other Big 12 teams that aren't part of the challenge.

But still, the fact remains, UCF isn't going. Says something about 'em.
Maybe you're on to something. Both Texas and Oklahoma (Big 12 this past year) are moving to the SEC next year. Hence, UCF is the only Big 12 team from this season NOT to be in the challenge next year, even though they finished ahead of OSU and WVU in the Big 12 standings and Kenpom rankings.

4 Pac-12 teams will be joining the Big 12 in the coming season.

Interesting conspiracy theory about Hall on 3 Bid League. Musselman offers Hall a bag to come to Arkansas. Hall thinks he’s got a sure thing and shuts it down to prevent getting hurt. Offseason happens and Hall has his fake four on social media, but Musselman leaves for USC and Calipari gets hired at Arkansas and the whole deal falls apart. Now Hall is scrambling and lands at probably one of the worst places for him next season: Central Florida.

Also, not the SLU guys and Dayton guys on the podcast all thought it was a crime the 4 minutes he played in the A10 tournament. One guy said a friend unconnected to any school turned to him and said Hall looked like he had money on the other team. One of the hosts said it was like when you’re playing pickup and you’re ready to go home but your team keeps winning and so you sandbag it to try to throw the game.

Like many conspiracy theories, it makes for an intriguing story line. But it sounds like the "evidence" is based on rumor and imagination. If Musselman wanted Hall at Arkansas, why not make a similar deal to bring him to USC? USC (now in the Big 10) doesn't have the $$?? And a couple of guys watching a game speculate about a player's motivation within 4 minutes?

It is fun and I doubt it’s true, but it is plausible. I’d also say it would be the opposite, that USC probably has more money than Arkansas and so would be looking at a higher caliber recruit.

Do you buy the ankle injury? I don’t know that I do. There was definitely something going on behind the scenes.

I totally believe this. Maybe it wasn’t Arkansas, but a deal definitely fell through after a coach was fired.

Things I know to be true:
*Mu$$ was tampering with players and throwing out bags of cash long before it became cool. His cheating makes Will Wade look like child’s play.

*Key quit on the team. He was not hurt, any more than everybody is hurt by the time you get to late February.

Things I don’t know, but strongly suspect:
*Those two points intersected somewhere.

Things I don’t care about:
*What happens to either of them.

Arkansas has a number of HUGE donors in Walmart, Jerry Jones, and Tyson chicken. I’d actually be surprised if their NIL wasn’t significantly larger. Muss left because he wasn’t a fit culturally
