Thought it would be interesting to see what the projected box score looks like with Anderson plugged in as a starter... just hypothetically. That is some crazy depth and flexibility with going big vs small.

I just worry about any team with this many new pieces, if it takes time for them to gel, you can play your way out of an at large resume even if you're really good by the time conference play rolls around.

One of them happened to win the A10 though, so it didn’t hurt them that much (other than seeding).

But yes Loyola and vcu played their way out of at-large contention early. And then us, St. Joes and Bonaventure played our way out of it during conference play.
