Posting here to give them some much deserved attention:

*11-5, 6-2 in A10
*Vying for top 4 seed (and hosting 1st round game in A10 tournament)
*Have won 5 of last 6 by shutout
*Emma van der Vorst is the leading goal scoring freshman in the Country, 12th overall and 1st in Conference (likely Freshman all american and potential conference POY)
*3 losses have come to top 25 teams, including current #4 Georgetown by 1 goal

They appear to have a legit shot to win the A10 tournament, last home game is this Sunday, with the conference tournament starting next weekend on the 27th/28th. Give them some love!

The men seem to have put together a streak also. Tough one this weekend vs the ghetto art school

Make that 12-5, 7-2 and 6 of last 7 by shutout win :)

Now in 4th with still a shot at finishing 3rd with a win and SJU loss on Sunday.

I don't know much of anything about women's soccer bracketology, but my understanding is that their RPI of 37 puts them in reasonably good position for an at-large bid if they don't win the A10 (the league seems to have 6 really good teams and 6 awful teams, so it's a weird year).

If they can grab that top 4 seed, they will have a home game for the A10 quarterfinals next weekend.

If that happens, I hope Mason can pull some strings and schedule kickoff for immediately after the men's basketball open practice on Saturday. Might be a good way to get a few extra people to attend. :D

Actually overlooked an email from the Patriot Club that came in late afternoon. They haven't forgotten me after all!
