Is the WNIT run by the NCAA offering automatic invite to regular season champs with a small payout for each team? Or, is it more like the old men's NIT where it was a quasi play-to-play model?

Pretty sure that both men's and women's NIT is run by the NCAA the last few years. I don't think there is any pay to play.

In the old days, it was less based on records; rather than potential draw to Madison Square Garden for their final four. Over represented by mediocre teams in the NYC area.

I saw Navy play twice at AU this season. If Navy does get by VA Tech, they have no inside game that will be able to control Butler.

So I bought tickets through my Mason season ticket account - but didn’t get a pass for the green room.. requested $15 Vip’s and got this - only charged me $10 per ticket. Wtf? Anyone else?

Good morning,

It appears that you bought General Admission seats with the hospitality package. It will take place upstairs in the Gold Room. There will be a list of people who bought this package and you will simply need to give them your name to confirm access. Those were $10 each, I believe that we sold out of the $15 VIP seats online. It is possible that it still allowed you to select the VIP option but it generated GA seats because it was all that was left.
