MaddoxIs he the KD replacement or more Anderson?
21% from 3 is not Maddox. He can drive though.Maddox
You wish!Maddox
Yes. Shooters and PG.This guy is going to fit in very well in Tony’s system. I think he’ll make an impact in the A10 and Mason fans will enjoy watching him play, big time energy guy.
Hoping we start targeting more shooting and a center over the next few weeks. I also think we still need to go after a true PG but not sure if Tony will or not.
It’s not going to be an apples to apples thing from this year’s roster to next year, but Hill was definitely brought in to replace the offense we’re losing from Maddox. He’s a bucket, just in a different way than Darius. He also adds an element you need in a ballscreen offense, the ability to get downhill off the dribble and attack the rim. Me likey. You wish!
He and Maddux both shot 47% on 2 pt %, but from 3 is only at 21% (Billips = 27%). And at 65% from the line, he's only a little better than Haynes (60%). He does get fouled at a higher rate than Darius (over 50 more attempts), so if he can improve from the line, that would be a good way to up his ppg average.
There are shooters and there are scorers. It’s not going to be an apples to apples thing from this year’s roster to next year, but Hill was definitely brought in to replace the offense we’re losing from Maddox.
