I'm hopeful, but I think calling that a decent jumper is a bit of a stretch. Pretty sure of the 2 3's they showed in his highlight video one of them banked in. Not great form either.

It is taking some adjustment to get excited about kids that really don't seem to have a lot of fanfare around them.

On the Hudl link that Tweeder posted he has a senior highlight tape where he hits a bunch of 3's with at least average mechanics. Take a look at that video, I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw.

Seriously? Yes, I understand you still get credit for the basket, but if you are creating a tape of yourself to show to prospective schools and coaches, you probably want to show off a silky smooth, in rhythm shot and not a top of the key toss that happens to bank in. I'll happily check out the other video (on a plane now so no video abilities) and hope that it shows a smoother stroke. Again, I like the kid and hope he can contribute right away, just not trying to wear shades that are too green and gold tinted.

The video from his senior year is definitely much more encouraging (especially the loss of the headband). I agree with 99 about his mechanics being a little unconventional, but I'm sure the coaches will tweak it if the results aren't good enough.
