On a side note: I have kept up well with most technology, but for TVs I am critically lacking. I usually watch Mason road games online, mostly via A10 Network, using my computer and its 17" monitor.

My old TV is not a SmartTV and does not do streaming. However, I am in the market for a new TV and will buy one very soon. I will get one that's Wi-Fi enabled with built-in Chromecast. Do any of you know how to stream from A10 Network to a SmartTV? If so, is it decent quality?

I have a smart TV and use the original chromecast from a few years back to stream from my Mac to the TV and the quality is fine as long as your network speed is good and the feed isn't bad. For the most part with a few instances, the A10 network has been good this year.

I used an iPad and via AirPlay streamed it to the AppleTV.

Was really pleased with the quality this year - not much different than watching a game on MASN or CSN. I would imagine the quality with a Chromecast would be the same.

Have had no problem casting a10 network through google chrome to chrome cast, one thing to be aware of is that I've been unable to cast from the a10 ap on my phone or tablet.

Actually just watched the women's game through google chrome browser on my amazon firestick - so that is another option to compliment the chrome cast.

Cool. Thanks for the tips! I'll be streaming from my Mac. I should be able to grab my new TV this weekend, after we squish the Spiders!

Streaming from your mac should let you cast most everything through google chrome. To fill in the gaps make sure your smart TV has the ability to download aps (I'm sure it will). There are some weird quirks with streaming (from ap vs website) so having both options should cover all your bases.

Example - you can stream wizards and caps games through the NBC ap, but not the nbcsports website (or vice versa, forget).

Also - get a log in from someone who has a good cable package with cox or fios - lifesaver

With everyone on here having positive experiences, I feel the need to share my negative one. I tried all season to chromecast from surface to my tv (not a smart tv but has chromecast built in). I always end up just watching on my computer because of terrible quality. I really wish the A-10 had an app that I could put on my PlayStation or through Fios.

I have chromecast and the Apple TV. The chromecast gives me issue streaming the a10 app. But the Apple TV works perfectly.

I haven’t had any problems using airplay on my Apple TV. In fact, I’ve never bothered to use my smart Tv’s apps

My new TV arrives Wednesday. It's a 2018 model, so it should be loaded. I'm sure there are going to be a few set-up and growing pains, though. Thanks for all the info!
