USA All-State Teams

JBiggs posted this info in the 2016 Recruiting thread, but I thought it deserved one of its own.

Two of the four signees in Mason's Class of 2016 were named first-team all-USA selections in their respective states by USA Today.

Ian Boyd made it in North Carolina, which is a huge honor when you consider the talent of the guys who were on the second team or didn't make the cut at all.

Karmari Newman was selected in Michigan, where he keeps company with a future Sparty and Wolverine.

Major props to our coaching staff for finding these guys before they blew up and convincing them to join a rebuilding program.

Looking forward to seeing Ian and Karmari on the floor in green and gold.

I always forget to check the recruiting threads so separate threads on important recruiting issues are crucial for me.

I don't think I've enjoyed an offseason more than I am this current one.
