Team Captains

Mason's team captains for the Colgate game were senior Marko Gujanicic and freshman Otis Livingston II. While I'm not surprised by the selection of Marko who was a team captain last season with Corey Edwards, has Mason ever had a freshman as a team captain?

Were they team captains just for the Colgate game, or has Coach Paulsen selected them team captains for the season. If it's the latter, then Otis could become Mason's first 4-year team captain. BTW, Otis reminds me of Troy Manns as a freshman in the way he runs the offense.

I don't think the fact that you are a freshman should matter to whether you are a captain or not. If you exhibit the leadership skills necessary to be the captain as a Freshman, than so be it.

Eh, if he would have spent some time growing up garnering even the barest trace of a jumper he could have avoided the whole mess. He's fortunate to play D1 ball. You should see those teeth all the time.
