That was a weak call. I watched a few videos that St. Bonnie's fans posted and am kind of shocked. Although vcu always gets calls so I'm not.

I agree. If the Bonnies win it puts them half a game behind vcu in the fight for fourth place. Not at all court rush worthy, although the atmosphere was probably super tense and the shot was awesome.

It's the kind of call a Duke would get that makes everyone hate Duke for getting these kinds of calls.

You ask fans and students to bring passion to the games. St Bonnies did last night. Sold the place out. They saw their player hit a game winner. So what if they stormed the court. Its a crap rule that should not of cost them the game.

I think this rule should change. Punishment should be on the school not the players. Place a fine on the school and not a technical. Quick google search, I guess it looks like fines are determined by Conferences.

Great idea, but this would require us wearing vcu clothes. I guess we could go to the nearest Goodwill store and pick some up.

Unfortunate but can see why the rules in place. It was poor on whoever let the time run off and the backboard go red's part.

This video shows the problem. Watch the lower right corner of the court and you can see a fan disrupt the inbound play. The students waited to rush the court until after the buzzer, but the technical foul may have already been called. The moral of the story is: Fans have got to pay attention to the game.
