Have Allowed Multiple Responses as I know the last one wil be by default the most popular.
Oh my bad. I thought it meant you could have multiple selections but vote only once. It won't allow me to delete or edit the poll.Be careful with the multiple responses, people can then vote for everything, haha. If you want close this after 5 days just so nobody can vote after the inevitable loss on Sunday, hahahah

Everyone who put sheer bad luck clearly are those that don’t judge his in game inefficiencies. That’s the saddest choice in the poll.
This poll looks weird on my mobile. Said it had 8 votesnobody voted for that, although one person said DP will eventually get it done.
I voted for that. I get why you feel that way, but my feeling is that, while I have been a big proponent of the eye test (which I think he fails at Mason), firing someone who is on a contract should require a little more evidence than that. We may have felt the rebuild was too slow and has stalled, but the trajectory was consistently upward. I don't believe injuries are to blame for this year, but he deserves another chance to prove me wrong. We are scandal-free. We are positioned better than before we hired him. We went from basement to middling, and maybe even better. I want proof that this year was not an anomaly.''Not This Year. Give Him One More Year''. Lame Duck Vote.

I actually don't buy into the "I don't want to lose the recruits" argument. That's always going to be a thing. We can't keep making excuses to not fire him until he buries us in obscurity forever. I just think that you cannot fire after one terrible year without a last stab at righting the ship.
All of that said, I would see next year as make-or-break. No more of this wait and see, or too afraid to go through another rebuild. Meaningful postseason or time to go.

Has DP not gone full circle from PIG to PIG? We were told to wait till it was his own guys, his own senior classes...well? At what point will we accept that we flatlined and now are on a downwards trajectory? Why on earth should we have confidence in practically the same team next year? Cause of freshmen? But then when we reference said freshmen not playing well next year, people will say “well, they’re just freshmen, freshmen hardly produce.” What do we think is going to magically change next year?
People keep saying next year is make or break, is this season not currently breaking? Wasn’t the 2nd half of our 2 year season not make or break?
I mean, I hear you, but this is the second year in a row that our senior class has been decimated (we currently don't play any seniors; last year, Grayer goes down, Otis is nursing some kind of undisclosed injury and wasn't 100%).
In the meantime, we have inconsistency from our players -- AJ, Greene, Miller specifically. AJ has been probably the most consistent of those three, but even he went for like 2-15 against UMass, only scored 6 against SBU (including going 0-4 from the FT line), etc. You can probably also include Hartwell in that (and don't tell me he's too short to get his shot off -- see: Fatts, see: Dunn-Martin). But we also know AJ, Greene and Miller all have the capability to be very good, but we haven't seen all three of them play at that high level all at the same time or for a sustained time (game over game). The last time we probably saw this was in the Cayman Islands Classic, but we had Kier coming back who really brought a lot of calmness and anchored those teams off the bench (without Kier's performance against NMSt, we don't come back and win that game).
So, you could see a scenario if everyone comes back where our seniors (AJ, and Greene specifically) become that consistent presence that allows Miller, XJ, Hartwell, and Oduro to just do what they do well.
But there's still the question of our offensive and defensive design and whether we are setting the players up for success or failure, so I can understand an argument from a scheme perspective that consistent performances from multiple players game over game will never happen.
Fire.Scenario: We bring back DP next year, we perform better and finish in 6th, 5th or 4th place in the A10 but still fail to make NCAAT/NIT, now what? Fire a coach who finished top half of the league? Extend a guy that is mediocre?
