Thanks for sharing. First time I've even heard of this. Only heard of the Marshall tragedy because of the movie. Can't believe the crashes were 6 weeks apart. Must have been a sad time as a nation.

Had never heard of it...amazing that the wreckage from the crash is still there. Relatives and former teammates still hike up to the spot of the crash to pay homage. So avoidable - plane was overloaded and not equipped to fly higher than the peaks of the Rockies.
