Wish I would have known they were doing this, I would have gone to watch. CPT Hernandez ran a mile in a bomb suit in just over 10 minutes at the George Mason track last weekend. If you’ve ever been in a suit, you know how wildly impressive this is. Obviously incredibly heavy, and even with the fans going inside incredibly hot and humid once you get breathing heavy. I think I’d be lucky to do half a mile in that same time. Pretty cool that they did this up here.

The company commander of an ordnance disposal unit at Fort Campbell, Ky., broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest mile run by a woman wearing a bomb disposal suit Saturday at George Mason University.
