If AJ and Miller can be more efficient with their scoring and we can keep JAG off the FT line, we've got a chance. My guess is Davidson will go 100% zone, so they better be ready for it.

I wonder if Hartwell will be available to take some minutes? If he's healthy, his shooting (which we know he can be on) might be the difference.

I hate this matchup. If hartwell is out we really need XJ to play his best defensive game of his young career. Let’s face it he can be a turnstile on defense and we cannot have that against JAG and Grady. Need him to step up defensively. AJ Miller and Oduro can hopefully play some big minutes against a very soft big men group from Davidson.

If our guys go down there with a finesse mindset, we’re gonna get killed. We have to take the game to them and be aggressive even if they sit in a zone for 40 minutes.

the issue is less offensively. We will be able to get ours. I worry about Javon getting in foul trouble considering both Grady and JAG can get to the line A LOT when they really try to.

Man for man, you’re right that they have nobody who can match up physically with AJ and Jordan. But we tend to get very passive against zones. Hopefully McKillop has a senior moment and insists on trying to play man against us.

but they aren't even capable of playing a long zone. If we can't beat a zone against less athletic, skinnier, shorter guys I will have to completely lose faith in turning this ship around. If they beat us it will be because we couldn't stop them defensively. They just do not have the horses this year especially down low. If Luka gets in foul trouble they have a SF that takes his place

I believe that McKillop relies heavily on the scouting reports prepared by his assistants, including his son Matt.
