Returning players from JMU: Matt Lewis (scored 18 points in last seasons game and got 8 rebounds, averaged 16.4 PPG), Darius Banks (scored 4 points in last season's game, averaged 12.3 PPG/5.0 RPG), and Dwight Wilson (scored 4 points and got 6 rebounds in last season's game, averaged 10.2 PPG/7.8 RPG).

One of JMU's wins came against Division 3 school Shenandoah University on November 13th by a score of 96-48.

This game makes me nervous, because their coach wants to murder our coach, and I'm afraid there's going to be blood spilled on the court. Emotions are going to be high for the JMU side, hopefully our players stay a little calmer than against LIU and take care of business, but it's going to be nervy. I'm going GMU by 4 with some late game FTs and some nervous defending.

Speaking of competition, living in Richmond I took in the Richmond/Vanderbilt game last night. Here is my take away. Richmond Spiders look totally re set from last year. Their two guards, both very short are quick as lightning, Gilyard and Francis, transfer from Wagner. they both surpassed 20 points (Richmond won 93 -92). were outstanding. They went toe to toe back and forth, quite the game. could have gone either way as leading scorer for Vandy had 34 points. At one point he hit four threes in a row. As athletic as Vandy was they just could not stop them. Grant Golden was also strong in the pivot. Mason will have to play at a top level to compete. Defense is going to have to be a priority.

This is the 4th video I've done for/with GK and By George. I've been posting on these boards and a season ticket holder for a little while now. It's been a pretty interesting experience to cross over to the media side and get "behind the curtains".

I've been super impressed with how the GK team has grown. The level of effort they put into this is high. Every person does this on the side and for free. The content they have developed and relationships they have built with Mason is amazing. I imagine if this board supports them more the limit of what they can achieve is boundless.

We all want to be a big time program, like what vcu has grown to. It starts with fans, supporters and groups like GK. Money is always great but also follows, likes and shares of GK content. Let's show everyone Mason Pride and what we can do.

There's still a long season ahead, I look forward to providing everyone here more content. Let's kick JMUs a**!
