Jarron Cumberland is averaging 18.3 PPG, and multiple players are averaging between 9.0 and 9.8 PPG. Nysier Brooks is averaging 8.3 RPG and Tre Scott is averaging 5.5 RPG.

With a couple wins under our belts, blood pressures will be slightly down, shoulders will relax, and shots will fall. I think we come out playing well as an underdog on a neutral floor and win in a nail biter.

A few things to note about Cincinnati:

• Cronin's teams play at a deliberate pace. Their tempo is typically in the bottom 10% in the NCAA. So far this year, Cinncy's "raw tempo" is 64 possessions per game, ranked 346 out of 353 teams. Mason's tempo is 72 possessions per game.
• The score 1.067 points per possession (ppp) but only give up 0.936 ppp on defense.
• They rebound well on both the offense and defense.
• They don't turn the all over much on offense and are good at forcing turnovers on defense. They are also 4th in the nation in blocked shots.
• They have done a good job defending the 2 pt. shot but a poor job of defending the 3 pt. shot. They are also not a great 3 pt. shooting team.

Took a flight from National to Destin this morning to meet family and friends for Friday’s game.

Pleasantly surprised to find the team on the same flight.

NCCU was on the flight as well which seemed odd.

My seat assignment was next to DP. I showed him all of the posts so expect your suggestions to be implemented immediately. Ok I didn’t sit next to DP or suggest anything, but have positive vibes for Friday.

If the second half of last night’s game was an open the floodgates moment for our guys psychologically, I think we have a chance to beat Cincy.

But who knows? After the way our first five games have gone, I’m done trying to predict what this team will do.

I don’t have much hope for a victory and a lot would have to fall out way to win, but if all the principal players are on there is a chance.

Otis will need to find his shot though. Mar will have to build on his performance last night. Kier will have to take and make the 3s he’s been hitting lately. Boyd will have to contribute. And Gryaer will have to have one of his better games.

I have a feeling that our bigs will not find much room on the inside so it will come down to our guards to carry the load.

I have hope. I am feeling a performance in the first half that looks like our GA Southern first half and a second half that looks like NC Central second half. We put two complete halves together for one solid game and we battle to a tough 2 point win.
