Tough call. On paper and in the standings this is a game we could/should win. Will we be able to maintain the momentum we're building? Will our defense step up for a third straight game? Would love to get to .500 in the league and put even more distance between us and the PIG. All that being said LaSalle wins a close one 76 - 73.

I like us to lose this game but sure like the direction we're headed.

Don't have to do a ton now to meet my definition of "significantly improved" by the end of the season.

Some of us should go up there and hit on college girls and stuff again.

The women are still on a high from the Eagles Super Bowl victory. So if you want to get laid for free this weekend, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the place to be.

One of my friends got laid by 4 medium to smoking hit women since the Super Bowl victory in Philly ..... and he is about as disgusting a physical specimen as you will ever see.

We've got pretty much the same crew heading up as last time. Might bring the Miller Lite helmet beer tower and just tailgate in the parking lot.

Man... the Fordham and Duquesne games... Winning either of those would be such a huge difference in the season. Need to take this one against LaSalle. The boys are hungry though. Time to let them eat.
"hungry dogs run faster"
I would love for my basketball team to take on my football team's persona for the rest of the year!

I'll be at both Philly games next week along w Haxormax so we'll try and find some underdog masks and keep this Mason winning streak going.

Don't forget, we are also a buzzer beater 3 vs St Joes and an OT win vs UMass away from being tied for last in the conference. We lost some heart breakers that we probably should have won, but we also stole a few too that could of easily been losses. We are what our record says we are - 6-7.

GIVING DAY 2023
Going to be a close one. Last week I would say we didn't match up well because our big men had been underperforming but really have liked what I've seen out of them the last few games.

Our Patriots do what the antichrist patriots of New England couldn't do against a Philly team and win by 3.

Any bar recommendations near the stadium to pregame at?

I posted on the LaSalle boards and got a ton of recommendations. Based on what they said, there is nothing within walking distance to the place with two basketball hoops, but McMenamin's Tavern - 2.5 miles away, was the consensus for best/closest.

You're better off going to a bar in Center city and then taking an Uber up to the game or the broad Street line and then walking 5 min in a kinda rough part of town. McMenamins is in Mt airy which is city proper but more like a suburb. If you want a cool Philly bar go to McGillins Ale House or Monks Belgian Cafe or the new Yards Brewery or Evil Genius Brewry.

There are good Korean BBQ places up near LaSalle in Olney but that's probably not special if you live in NoVA.

With the game being at 2pm, just wanted the closest place to campus, which is McMenamin's. We are already coming from the burbs north of LaSalle, so not venturing all the way down to Center City and then back up. Have been all over downtown Philly and Center City over the years.

So looking at the La Salle boards has yielded some interesting info, mainly that apparently the school is considering a conference realignment and dropping basketball down a few rungs.

I looked at that thread, and I seriously doubt the university is all that serious about a move down to D3.
