Saint Joe’s plays 5-out on offense so there won’t be any post to double. But they usually have five guys on the floor who can hit the 3 so that will be its own adventure for our defense.

If they shoot the ball well we’re gonna get smoked again. If not we have a chance, assuming they don’t get to the line 35 times in our arena like they do at home.

DP is a well traveled, experienced coach, but then a again so was Hewitt. So while we definitely dont have enough pure talent ( and yes DP recruited and signed these kids) I have serious concern about performance. So lets assume they are not very good offensively, poor shooting, tunovers galore, etc. My gripe is their lack of defense. Have u ever seen such a lack of effort, out of position, and apethetic effort. When is the last time a Mason player took a charge? They literally were just letting Davidson players just walk in play after play.on one play Kier and Boyd just stared at each other as Aldridge went unchallenged. To me thats on Paulson. Freshmen or not players for 2 hrs ought to give their all. These guys looked like they were pissed off because they had to get up early.

OK Lets see what happens Wednesday. I hope to see a much more motivated team. Forget the win or loss, its all about effort.
