If we play with the effort and intensity we displayed last night we win by 6. If we let down, Davidson by 8. Early Sunday game, and with the Redskins out of the playoffs it will hopefully translate into a big crowd. No excuse to not be at EBA. Get off your lazy butts and get to the game!

There's no way to predict what will happen with this team this year.

One of our 3 main scorers (Otis, Grayer, Mar) have an off night, we're f**ked
One of our 3 main scorers gets in foul trouble early, we're f**ked

What I do like is despite not running plays for Calixte, he still found ways to score by hustling and rebounding. Going forward, it would be nice see if we could run least two or three plays a game for Calixte in the post to see what he can do. Opponents most likely would not double team him as he is not known as a source of points for us. And if they do, he has shown he is a decent passer.

When he comes up to the three point line to screen and then goes back to the paint, he's been open several times and we missed him. Time to start getting it in the team's mind that he is more of an offensive option.

I feel good about this one, hopefully the start of a win streak that gets us over .500 with the next 3 games at home against other middle dwelling teams.

I as well am feeling good about this one. I'd love to see some more bench production, but am still happy with the overall progress of all the player. A big game from either Kier, Boyd, or Wilson would make me feel warm inside.

Otis played 43 minutes last game, a very active 43 minutes at that. This is what makes stringing together several wins in a row so difficult. We have very little fault tolerance this year. Desperately need someone outside of our big 3 to really step it up.

You could tell after a while Otis took over the game at the end because he seemed to have little confidence in his teammates to score.

One example: When Otis was on a 2 on 1 fast break, he took the ball to the rim instead of passing it and got blocked. Because several times this year and earlier in the game, his teammates screwed up a nice pass from Otis which should have resulted in an easy layup but was either fumbled, blocked, traveled or missed wide open 3 pointers.

UMASS has some good wins this year (Providence, Georgia), but they also lost to Quinnipiac (RPI 316).

Which UMASS team did we beat? Two conference wins in a row would help to answer that question a bit.

Do we know if the team was able to return to Fairfax given the storm in the Northeast?

If G Mas is able to return from Amherst in time for game on Sunday:

Davidson 74
G Mas 70

If GMas is not able to return from Amherst in time for game on Sunday:

Davidson 74

To put up 71 and only lose by three is a victory....considering your prediction they will be missing all or part of the game.
