How do we continue to shoot 52% from behind the arc? If we figure that out, this game shouldnt be close. But will we figure it out?????

We aren’t going to shoot 50% from 3 every game, but we also won’t only take 8 FT attempts all game either. Continue being aggressive and attacking the basket and the points will come.

These next two games are actually a big litmus test for how the season will go. Our home court hasn’t been a terribly intimidating place to play over these last years and if we want to have a winning season, we can’t lose more than 2 home games the rest of the way (preferably none, of course). The St. Joes road win was a good sign, but the Bonnie’s and Davidson can’t be comfortable coming to Fairfax and leave happy.

Need to set precedent real quick..... have Reuter elbow their forward in the lower back right off the bat when they are matched up down low and let him know that PAIN will be in store for them every damn time that player catches the ball on the block against our forwards.

Need to start reclaiming our house as a house of horrors and terror dome for opponents.

Blow these kids out of the gym. LETS FING GO!!!!

Another one of those "need to wins." If we can get 2 wins each off the Bonnies and GW, and take care of business against Fordham and La Salle, we're up to seven wins. Take 1 each off UMass and Richmond is 9. Assume we pick up a random against a URI/Duquense type team and we're at 10. Should be on the bubble for top four. It'll be interesting to see if GW/Fordham/La Salle can take any wins off anyone but themselves. If not the win total for top four will need to be much higher than previous years.

So, I have been thinking about this and believe I have figured it out. We should have the team shoot 28 three point shots and tell them to make 15 of them, then we will shoot 52+% from behind the arc.

I'll be submitting my application in the coaching search thread momentarily.

Driving the basketball to get easy buckets or kickouts for open 3's. Either way ball movement is critical to finding the open shooters. Thst is how we beat the hawks.

That and they're a shit defensive team. I hope we're as committed to creating space when we come up against a team that actually can defend us out to the perimeter.

“The Bonnies are a top-100 KenPom defensive team, but struggle to score.”

The Bonnies are not a great team this year we should be able to beat them rather easily if we take care of the ball and don’t have any major cold streaks.
I’m going 75-63 Good guys.
