It will be interesting to see how the team responds after last nights debacle. Will they compete or quit? If they compete we lose by 10. If they have quit, we lose by 25 - 30.

Another loss for the Patriots this season to a P5 football school, who will be looking past this game to a home match-up with BING two days later to keep it close.

Ok. Mason played a clunker versus GA Southern. In 05-06, Mason played another mid-December home clunker against Creighton—we ended the season in the Final Four.

Some can bicker and complain, but what we want most is to leave Tuesday's game behind and win on Sunday against Penn St. That involves us fans to be in great support of the players on the court—George Mason Patriots—one in the same. Join your fellow fans and scream like hell. Our players need our support! Rah, Rah, f-ing Rah!!

I think the guys get up for this game and help re-develop some confidence after the GA Southern game. I don't expect them to win, but I'm thinking a 3-4 possession game in the final minutes.

I want to see sharper defensive rotations with more energy and physicality. This PSU team is big, and we're going to have put bodies on them. I also want to see some semblance of a half-court offense. I'm sure it's been a focus in practice this week.

My hot take is AJ starts for Boyd, and Mar slides to the 4.

Is the stream on Stadium free, or does it require a subscription of some kind?

At one point Tuesday night, in the 2nd half, Mason was driving the lane a lot, in an attempt to get free throws and it was working. Based off the stats, it doesn't appear PSU is deep, so maybe getting them in foul trouble is the plan?

I think AJ does need to start. Paulsen has used the same lineup for every game this season, and it wouldn't hurt to try something different.

PSU has a thread about the game: https://forum.pennstatehoops.com/t/george-mason-4-p-m-sunday-stadium-network/5260

Yes, just like Moore last year - Grayer needs to channel his inner MM and put up 20+

If Paulsen and the players are who we think they are, they will come back fired up and this will be a competitive game and will probably turn out similar to the Louisville/Auburn games.

If they put together another clunker, effort and focus wise, like against GAS...

Yep. You're right. GAS is the same as Creighton. Paulsen is the same as Larranaga who had already been to 2 NCAAs and 2 NITs with G Mas at that pt. I get that you like G Mas, I do too, but being a blind homer "rah rah rah" and being so accepting of lousy play and coaching isn't going to make things better.

Verizon channel 820 (Fairfax) is indeed the Stadium channel, but the Mason game is not listed on the guide. "Baseball" is listed but not otherwise described.
