This is not a political post just an FYI. Apparently there is a protest/march on the Mall between 4th and 6th streets scheduled for NOON on Friday, March 14. Assuming traffic and parking will be a mess as a result. Plan accordingly.

Hope admins shut the thread down quick if it turns political.

The least they could do is wait till after the tournament!

Protest/March is scheduled Noon-6:30 (doubt it'll go that long though).

Here's that plan:

Arrive 30 minutes before the first game starts. Mason game over 7-7:30ish. Perfect, no travel disruptions.

Don’t know what dc for street closures - but if you don’t go too far in via constitution you should be fine. I mapped out that I should be fine going from union station to the gallery place neighborhood since everything is on the mall and south.

Or take the metro.

If I am reading the news correctly, it sounds like the planned protest today will be small.
