Duquesne travel thread

Just made plans to go to Duquesne game on Saturday, March 1st - staying at Drury Plaza Hotel few blocks from arena.

Wanted to know if anyone else is planning on going and ideally plan a pregame meetup/tickets together if so. It'll be me, son and one friend.

Hey, I'm an alumnus living in Pittsburgh. Was trying to meet up and sit near other Mason fans for this game. Might have game in tow. Would love to know where the Mason fans are sitting, possibly be able to meet up pregame. Thanks!

I'm driving up that morning, so will probably arrive around 1pm (staying next to Union Station) - definitely interested in a meetup spot before game, time permitting and am open to suggestions, ideally whatever is closest to the arena.

We are planning on going to the Hofbrauhaus after the game for dinner and drinks.

I haven't really spoken to other fans outside my small group so am not sure who else is going, but will talk to people this weekend at vcu and see if anyone has made plans already.

Pregame, Moonlit Burgers is basically right across the street from Cooper Fieldhouse. I haven't been but people rave about it.

Looking at the tickets it looks like Sec 210 is the only section that has tickets together. Do we think that will be a safe zone for Mason fans? Is that near anyone else attending? I know I shouldn't have slept on tickets, but I just confirmed I'll be able to go!

I believe it seats only about 3500. I doubt there is a bad seat in the house. It is a beautiful arena. They did a great job when they redid it.

Good to hear! When I saw them in 2019 they were playing at Robert Morris so I'm excited to check this venue out.

FYI. There is a Jewish bagel shop in Squirrel Hill called Pigeon Bagels. Best lox bagel I have ever had.

Attending game with brother. We noticed that the Penguins have a game at 3. Early hockey game - may make it a bit more difficult to get a pregame beer.

I have an extra ticket if anyone wants it - its a paper ticket so you’d have to meet me before/at the game. Could try sending a screenshot of it, but that doesn't always work.
