Am I Wrong to Be a Little Excited for This Season?

I am not expecting an NCAA appearance or anything, but I am looking forward to being back at the Pat Dome and watching this team. I look forward to the new talent and he new coach.

I am happy that my disgust will be done with able with and seeing something that resembles college hoops.

Am I wrong, misguided or just stupid?

I think the potential is there that we could suprise alot of people. At the very least watching the games won't be a hair pulling experience

My excitement comes not only from the new coach and the new players but the change in the program's outlook. I'm just looking forward to seeing the kids play hard and progress throughout the year. W's will not be as important as a system change and a new trajectory for the program. Given the two recruiting classes coming in, I think we will be seeing a different brand of ball moving forward. That beats the same, tired losing ways of the past few years.

I'm always excited at the beginning of the season, but it's very tempered. I'm excited to see good basketball, and hopefully the steps towards a program on solid footing.

I'm excited as well, Im excited to go into the home opener with an open mind and a clean slate. With all the new faces and a new system im optimistic. Come mid January, I may have a completely different outlook.

Ok I feel better about my sentiments. I have been shell shocked for the past few years I am questioning my judgement

I am excited about not seeing our former coach's face after a loss looking all upset that they lost another game when we all knew it was because the presser was keeping him from rushing home to watch the Travel Channel and lighting up a stogie with $100 bills.
