Figured the broader tournament deserves its own thread. By George is here courtside for the UMass-La Salle game and I'm trying my hand at live-blogging. Really no idea who I'd rather face between UMass and La Salle tomorrow. UMass seems like the obvious answer but they scare me. Check it out here:

Dayton had a 5 point lead 70-65 with just over 3 mins left but blew it... vcu goes on a 12-2 run to end the game and win... damn it

Hypothetically do we want vcu to beat RI today, if we can get past St.Joes today I would much rather face that vcu squad that we beat last week over Rhode Island. Thing is I NEVER root for a vcu win, a bit conflicted.

I'm in the same boat and have been thinking about this.

For me it comes down to the fact that I don't want vcu having any change of making the NCAA tournament, so I will be rooting for their demise.
