I have no major beef with Chartouny getting ROY over Otis, but Shevon definitely should have made at least 3rd team. I agree with others here that Thompson was Cox blocked. No coach in the league not named Wade would take Cox over Shevon.

I'm certainly not a vcu fan, but I do think Cox had a very good year whenever I saw him on tv. Smoother on offense (he positively dominated the last 5 minutes in an early win against St. Joe's) than Shevon with fewer turnovers and blocked a lot of shots as well. While I would have voted for Shevon, I'm not that surprised at the outcome.

Honestly, the biggest snub was St. Bona's Dion Wright not at least making third team.

He deserved it ahead of Cox and Thompson.

Hope the A-10's coaches enjoy watching their guards get schooled by Otis and Jaire for the next 3 years.

Neither got the respect they deserved.

There will be atonement.

I am upbeat about the prospect of having them playing together for 3 more years! I'm also intrigued with Abrams--very streaky, for sure, but great hops. In time, maybe will develop a backdoor alley-opp for him like we did for Gabe Norwood.

I hope the guys who got snubbed go offfff in Brooklyn. (not knocking kid from Fordham - well deserved)

Otis had a much heavier load to carry at Mason.

Looking at their head to head match up, they both shot equally as poorly against each other (1-5 for Otis; 1-8 for Chartouny), both wound up with around the same number of point (7 for Otis; 8 for Chartouny), the difference being Fordham has more shooters right now.

Overall, Otis has a better field goal percentage and better 3-point field goal percentage for the season while playing over 300 more minutes. Chartnouny's assist totals are really impressive, but if Grayer was shooting 41% from 3 and Thompson or Marko was shooting 65% from the field, Otis probably would have 2 to 3 more assists per game too.

Chartouny is on the better team right now and that probably pushed him over the top (more wins = more votes).

There is not a point guard in the league who is a better fit for Mason than Otis. I'd take him over any A10 pg I saw all season (no disrespect to any other pg, just saying.)
