Max Shulga left vcu for Villanova, then vcu got him back and he won A-10 POY.
Guess his transcript isn’t as messed up as previously reported lol … dude wants a million-dollar NIL deal, no way he was staying
it still could be. kids hop in the portal all the time and think they are going to get what they want and it fails.
Your Max Shulga reference is the most relevant here in my view. It isn't so much that Shulga decided to stay as it was that Shulga couldn't complete the academic transfer process. If Jalen is getting offers around $1M, that is probably all he and his family are currently seeing. Maybe that is enough incentive to motivate to address any whatever transcript deficiencies may exist (maybe not). Not saying you’re wrong. But as close as he is with Bialkoski, and coming off a first-team all-A10 selection, I can’t believe he’d risk being left out in the street if the situation was so dire that he might not be able to get enrolled anywhere else.
He'll have to work on his defense, but his size and offensive skillset is definitely suited for the NBA.
Keyshawn Hall declaring for the NBA draft.
I disagree. Jalen is extremely marketable and there are a lot of big time programs that would love to have 6’8, 260 big man who will work his butt off every game.No way he gets a million dollars.
I agree, what's LSU roster looking like? They don't care about academics there. NC state with Wade will be looking at completely overhauling their roster. It will be harder for academics there but so will just about everywhere outside LSU.I disagree. When I googled a question on the issue of market rates, I did come across this from a year ago:Do we know how much Hall and Okojie were getting from their respective schools? I really don't have a sense of the market other than the Cooper Flagg's level that are in multiple millions.
I didn’t realize that’s the reason Shulga went back. As you said, maybe Mason can provide enough financial incentive for Jalen to decide transferring again isn’t worth the hassle and there are worse things than being one of the top candidates for A-10 preseason Player of the Year.Your Max Shulga reference is the most relevant here in my view. Completely agree.Loves Hayes, but he struggled getting shots off with taller, more athletic opposition. And they have lots of those in P5 conferences.
How is that a GOOD thing?good thing the next season doesn't tipoff for another 8 months lol
Curran is now following Ethan Coury, an NIL and FIBA sports agent representing EZ Sports Agent. You can cross reference the Twitter feed of ballers he represents with the list I posted above.Really the amount of tall guys and pure centers that Curran was following should have been a sign that Haynes was on his way.

It is hard to predict these things, but, if House settlement/Revenue share goes through, the numbers this year may be significantly higher than last year. I don't know if they are going to jump as much at the top level, but at the A10 level, I expect them to skyrocket. When I googled a question on the issue of market rates, I did come across this from a year ago:
