Is it odd that some of these "teams" have six players recognized and others only have five?

I hate the charity most improved award now, did AJ not deserve all defensive team?!
I’d say yes but that may just be me being a bit of a homer, tough draw for big men this year was pretty deep across the board. I think I’d put him in over Goodwin but I can see the thought process.

Not 1 Mason player on that list with the exception of AJ with most improved. I will say what we/most continue to say, doesn't look like we are recruiting at the A-10 level, no one on this years all rookie team has Paulsen recruited any kids that have made the all rookie team in his 5 classes?

Otis was the only one to make the All Rookie Team in 2016.

even though most of our freshman are constantly thrown into the fire because of lack of upperclassmen and depth. Very strange now that you bring it up. I get we don't don't have a Tre Mitchell or Bones Hyland but damn that Lee kid from Davidson only had one offer and was put into a very similar situation on a team with absolutely no depth. None of our freshman deserve to be on this list IMO but damn I wish they were considering how much we are forced into playing them

Looks like Otis was on the all rookie team his freshman year.

We’ve had a few Second team players but not more than 1 player recognized in any given year.

In cases like this two players end up with the same number of votes/points depending on criteria used, resulting in the 6th player.

I think for our freshman it was just there was a player at their position much better: Oduro < Mitchell; XJ < Hyland

Given what XJ had to do, I might have put him in over Lee who just had to tee up shots from the outside.

Why are you asking for pity? Kids wanna play right away and that's what Mason can give them and has given them for 5 years. You know the reasons they arent on this list, yet you make idiot posts just so you can read em back to yourself.
