"The major headline of the game, however, was not the La Salle victory, but rather the end-of-game temper tantrum on the Patriots bench.

With 13 seconds left to play and La Salle up six points, George Mason head coach Kim English was ejected from the game after being issued two technical fouls arguing a missed foul call. He had to be physically restrained from the referees by his assistant coaches, and arena security helped escort him off the court. The three minutes from the start of the outburst to the pause in the game it caused left the crowd fired up."
Totally forgot about this one. Good pull

FKE is embarrassing Providence College.

Don't coach's contracts contain terms to allow firing with cause without severance? My corrupt, a**hole boss was fired that way—escorted to the parking lot by security.

Dude nasty, so glad he packed his bags and bolted.

If he were still here I bet his pressers would be the same as what we are seeing in Providence. Complain, call-out, and deflect.

I wouldn't want to play for that guy and you gotta think people about to hit the portal are seeing the same thing.

There are many players who like that kind of smack-talk. Problem is, when you make it your daily story it gets old, wearisome, and loses it's meaning. When the coach and the team can't back up such talk with strong production then individual players, one after the other, begin to ignore it, and then the coach entirely. It always ends with the coach losing his team. Paul Westhead comes to mind as a close example. Mike Ditka. Deion Sanders (just you watch). Bruce Boudreau.
