Allenspach makes a lot of sense for Mason he is 6’11, 247 with a versatile offensive skillset. He went on visits to Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Va Tech previously. Seems like he is looking for playing time, or he would have went to one of those programs.

He had an offer from Mason back in 2021 under KE. Seems like a guy that could develop a lot under CTS.
Couldn’t remember why his name sounded so familiar outside of one game, completely forgot we’d offered him before.

Not sure if he’s the answer to our starting center problem, but you can never turn away someone that big who can shoot.

I assume that Jahari Long will require an NCAA waiver to play in 2026-27 inasmuch as it would be his 7th year of college.

Safe assumption because he has two redshirt years- but he should be able to get that.

Lighten up, Frances.

Tony is human like all of us. He has frustrations like all of us. This new generation vents publically instead of sitting in their living room downing a bottle of scotch. It's probably better this way.
I go thru a jar of unsalted peanuts in 15 minutes and sit on the porcelain can for 2 hours.

Is eligibility even a thing anymore?

If there's even just a whiff of the NCAA losing an eligibility appeal then it will more likely then be granted. Do we really think the NCAA wants to battle eligibility in court at this date and time? Let's get through the House settlement revenue share first.

Does he have remaining eligibility? Hoping the NCAA grants additional eligibility to everybody?

Interesting that he played 2 years at Ball State, 1 at Indiana, and then went back to Ball State.
Not sure what the basis for another year would be. Although Sparks didn't get a lot of minutes at Indiana, he did play in all but 8 games. And at Ball St he was mostly a 30+ minute guy all 3 yrs.

A lot of these guys are hoping the NCAA will grant a fifth year of eligibility and have gone into the portal just in case it does.

I thought the portal closes to declare that they’re in the portal?
