New Mason head coach Dave Paulsen received verbal commitments from two recruiting targets on Tuesday, as 6-0 PG Otis Livingston and 6-7 SF DeAndre Abram announced their intentions.

Livingston, out of Linden, NJ, averaged 16.3 points and 6.2 assists per game. He reportedly had offers from Farleigh Dickinson, Robert Morris, Niagra and Delaware State.

DeAndre Abram starred at Creekview in Carrollton, TX. He is a raw slashing scorer with an unconventional jump shot and also had an offer from San Jose State.

While neither Abram or Livingston are rated highly coming out of high school, they fill immediate needs in a rebuilding program. Both additions to the Patriot’s roster will help to ease the sting of the departures of Isaiah Jackson and Eric Lockett earlier this week.

Livingston and Abram join Danny Dixon and Kameron Murrell in the Patriots 2015 recruiting class.
