With the addition of Akron to the 2013 Diamond Head Classic, we now have our full field. The Diamond Head Classic will be held on December 22, 23 & 25, at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. With four teams that finished in the top 50 in the RPI last season, the tournament looks to be very balanced. Brackets and match-ups will be released at a further date. From George Mason’s view, there really isn’t a bad team to be paired up with in the tournament. The mid-major teams all had solid seasons last year with many players coming back (other than maybe the host, Hawaii), and the BCS schools allow you to get a win that will be valuable during selection time.
