The George Mason men’s soccer team won the A-10 tournament on Sunday with a 1-0 shutout over top-seeded Saint Louis. The title marks Mason’s first team championship as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. Led by a strong senior class and the A-10 Rookie of the Year, goalkeeper Steffen Kraus, the Patriots had finished the regular season 10-2-4 (wins-losses-ties) including undefeated records at home and in A-10 play (5-0-3).

The Atlantic 10 champion Patriots (12-2-5) will return to action on Thursday at 7 p.m. at William and Mary (11-5-2) in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
