VCU’s loss to the University of Richmond yesterday pales in comparison to the news following the game: Briante Weber’s career at VCU is done.

Weber tour his ACL and MCL when his right knee buckled after a jump stop late in last night’s game. The senior point guard came down hard in traffic, then had to be carried off the court before returning on crutches. An MRI following the game confirmed the severity of the injury.
