I would take nearly all the players on that list before NCH to start a team, and the record reflects that, but that's not her fault. Congrats to her!!

The team essentially lost my interest at the Tech game. Hopefully better next year.

    https://gomason.com/news/2020/3/5/w...hillary-kaminski-earn-atlantic-10-honors.aspx:

"Earlier this week, Cardaño-Hillary became Mason's all-time leading scorer, passing Keri Chaconas (1992-96) with 1,747 points. She now has 1,766 career points with one season to go in her storied career.

Cardaño-Hillary ranks fourth in 3-pointers made (159), fifth in steals (216) and 10th in assists (292) in Mason history. She's the only player in program annals to rank in the top-five in scoring, 3-pt field goals made and steals.

Kaminski, a senior from Plymouth, Minn., was named to the A-10 All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season. The criminology major boasts a 4.0 GPA, is a three-time George Mason Provost Scholar Athlete and was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Team in 2018-19.

Kaminski finished her career ranking third in program history with 173 3-pointers made. She also ranks 20th in assists (197) and is tied for 38th in rebounds (376).

This marks the third straight year the Patriots have had a player on the A-10 All-Academic Team."

Can't really blame her for entering the portal. Her freshman year she is teamed up with Natalie Butler, who has a once-in-generation type of season, and the best the team can do is the NIT. Its been downhill ever since.

    https://gomason.com/news/2020/5/1/w...n-of-milica-manojlovic-to-2020-21-roster.aspx:

"FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University women's basketball head coach Nyla Milleson announced on Friday the addition of guard Milica Manojlovic to the program.

Manojlovic, a native of Tivat, Montenegro, joins the Patriots as a transfer from Furman University. She will have two years of playing eligibility at Mason beginning in 2021-22.

'We are thrilled to announce the addition of Milica to our program,' said Milleson. 'From the very first recruiting conversation, I think we both knew the fit was perfect. During the last two seasons, Milica got great experience on the floor while also winning a lot of games. She is one of the best passers in the country and will make her teammates better each day. We are looking forward to eventually getting back on the court with our entire team and having her with us!'

The 5-foot-7 guard played in 61 games in two seasons at Furman, making 57 career starts.

In 2019-20, she started all 31 games for the Paladins where she averaged 32 minutes, 7.2 points, 5.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. Her five assists per game ranked in the top-40 in Division I women's basketball. She scored in double figures nine times, including her season high of 19 points on two occasions."

    https://gomason.com/news/2020/5/27/...dora-popovi-to-national-letter-of-intent.aspx:

"FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University women's basketball head coach Nyla Milleson has announced the signing of Teodora Popovic (Futog, Serbia) who will compete for the Patriots beginning fall of 2020.

The Patriots will add another player with an international background as their roster already features four student-athletes from outside the states: Marika Korpinen (Finland), Livija Kaktaite (Lithuania), Vita Stam (Netherlands) and Milica Manojlovic (Montenegro).

'Teodora plays a very exciting brand of basketball,' said Milleson. 'She is an aggressive scorer who is constantly looking to make plays for herself and for her teammates. Her shooting, ball handling, and passing skills will make her an instant fan favorite. She is a very focused and motivated student-athlete, and she will fit right into our team culture which is based on the values of hard work, respect, accountability and passion.'

The 5-foot-8 guard comes to Mason with a plethora of international experience, playing for Novosadska ŽKA in the first women's basketball league of Serbia this past season.

Popovic appeared in 18 games where she shot 40.0 percent from behind-the-arc and 86.0 percent from the free throw line. She averaged 11 points and three rebounds per game and finished third on the team in assists.

In addition, she represented Serbia in the 2017 FIBA U16 European Championships.

Popovic joins the incoming class which includes Taylor Jameson (Wichita, Kan.), Vanessa Laumbach (Woodbridge, Va.), Daijah Jefferson (Hopewell, Va.) and Manojlovic (Tivat, Montenegro)."

Not sure why Mason signs so many Euros. Women's AAU basketball is crazy loaded with talent and I would like to see these ladies rewarded for all their years of hard work. Just saying!

VCU has a ton of Euro's as well. not familiar at all with ladies basketball so that is far as I will go with the statement. I am not sure our women's coach is very good at recruiting or coaching though. She seems to make Paulsen look good in those areas. Grabbing Natalie Butler and still not being super duper competitive seems like a fireable offense to me.
