they have 15 scholarship players and like 5 dudes that play his position.
I'll take bad decisions for $1000 Alex. Who the hell is advising Porter or is he delusional? He carved himself a nice stint at ODU and he's most likely going to be a role player his last year.
Nevada is a great program but a top 100 recruit doesn't come very often.
Pretty sure Nevada is going to keep the new recruit happy and make sure he gets playing time to avoid a transfer.
He chose Nevada over Stanford, UCLA, Arizona etc......
Eric Lockett will transfer from FIU to NC State.

Natalie Butler is already out of the WNBA?
Will probably make significantly more money overseas.
Yea, she was cut unfortunately after the 2nd or 3rd preseason game. Got limited minutes in the few games she played.
That's unfortunate. Making the WNBA is more than twice as hard as the NBA. Only 12 teams compared to 30 in the NBA.
Yes, but also much less competition to do so .. thus the reason there are only 12 teams.
Minimum wage in the NBA is nearly 1 million per year and if you make to a second year, 1.6 million.
I don't know what the minimum wage in the WNBA is but the average salary is $50,000.
The WNBA is not necessarily the be all and end all for most top female college players unlike the men. In fact, I just read an article about a UCLA player (forgot which one) who wanted to play in the WNBA but got an offer from a tech firm (her major was computer science) that was almost 3 times what she would be making in the WNBA right out of college. She declined the WNBA's offer.
Heading to Belgium.

So... going to Europe next week, arriving on 5/26. Randomly thought to look up where some of our players are currently playing to see if any of their seasons are still going on. First player search was Ryan Pearson - he has a playoff game on 5/26 in Dijon, 30 minutes from where we are staying in Beaune. Front row seats behind bench are only 22 euro!!!!
We are flying standby, so may not arrive in time, but if we do we'll be digging out our fear the beard shirts and our beards!
Bonus - former Miami player Rion Brown also plays for them
mmmmm.... fancy mustard ......
Just purchased 2 courtside seats next to team bench to see Ryan Pearson lead JDA Dijon Basket against Limoges in game 2 of their playoff series Saturday (only 44 euro!). Just have to figure out how to get back to our hotel 40 mins away after game (too late for train).
Will bring back some fancy mustard for Chank.
Just ask Ryan for a ride.
Duh! Why didn't I think of that?
Uh, say wha?
And rosters are limited to a maximum of 12 players (while the NBA has a minimum of 14).
The WNBA really needs to add a 13th player to each roster.
Buddy ran into Bryon Allen in the parking lot of Fairoaks mall bc BA was checking out his Jeep. BA told him that he's getting a try out with the Dallas Mavericks this summer.

Looks like some former players are getting a team together for a local league. Tony, Lamar, Folarin and Jai are reportedly playing. Not sure who else is committed. They play Maryland this weekend.
Did anyone go to this? I didn't go, but apparently Mason lost 93-83.
Jai posted a team photo on instagram... Folarin Campbell, Ahmad Dorsett, Tremaine Price, Jai Lewis, Avery Carey???, Charles Makings, Can anyone name the first two guys?
