I don't want four more years of Trump - which is exactly what a Bernie candidacy will bring us. However, are you old enough to remember the financial meltdown of '08 - brought to you by deregulatory policies that Republicans love?

He's playing us all. Donald Trump, "Putin told me it wasn't Russia, I have no reason to believe it would be."

If you're spending your time on a message board solely bashing Democratic candidates at this time in our country's history, I'm not sure what you are thinking.

Bloomberg and Trump have both said awful things about women. (Only one has paid off porn stars and is been accused of sexual assault by 20 women though)

Is there any question Bloomberg would do a better job running the country though? It"d be nice not to have a Russian asset in the White House, don't you think?

Maybe I don't listen to enough corporate media, but I am not buying all this Sanders guarantees a Trump victory.

My brother disagrees with me that it necessarily does. Just seems as if if he was running against 1 moderate instead of 4, he wouldn't be winning the nomination. He'll need their votes in a general.

That's true. By the time it is Sanders vs one moderate Sanders might have all the numbers and momentum he needs to push him over the edge.

During the general, it depends on whether or not people are willing to hold their nose and vote for Sanders against Trump. I think if the party rallies around Sanders he can win.

Nah, you’re right. I’m sure swing voters will line up behind a former elector of the Socialist Worker’s Party whose nominee encouraged US soldiers to “shoot their officers”

I’m sure all the down ballot races will also love trying to navigate between supporting or opposing the communist-loving nominee in competitive districts or conservative-leaning ones.

First I've heard of that. Will swing voters have heard of that?Dismiss it because Bernie didn't say it? Never know with swing voters, many of them didn't have a problem voting for a 50 something bragging about grabbing women by their pussy.

Take the pain to get the gain........financial meltdown of 2008 leads to financial Nirvanna 10 years later! As Buffet will tell you BUYING opportunity!

My parents, both just retired.....are freaking loving what has happened to their retirement accounts, especially since you know social security kind of stinks.

I think alot of people will accept the corruption if their own circumstances are going well. At this point Trump is getting the candidate he wants to run against and the economy is running strong. It's his race to lose at this point

Yeah...stocks definitely recover over time. You just don't want to be recently retired at a time when shortsighted politicians help wreck it. Who benefited from allowing crappy mortgages being bundled and sold to anyone breathing? None of us - just a handful of evil geniuses who got stupid rich. Then, those criminals don't get punished and we have to bail the banks out. Too big to fail - Bernie does have a very valid point concerning socialism for the rich.

Okay...but leaving it in the hands of politicians with SS...gets me less benefits and longer working years...because as we know the "ol lockbox" aint locked and its stuffed with IOUs.

And of course under Bernie...we want to give everything to non citizens who can walk across the desert or show up in a raft.

    So where is the balance.....?

Who knows? My 74 year old mom hates Trump but says she may sit it out if he faces Sanders. She is afraid of her health care changing drastically.

I like Bernie's strategy...compliment Fidel, lose Florida, complain about the Electoral College.

    Works for me!

Also aligns nicely with ban coal & nationalize the steel industry, lose Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky & West Virginia.

He’s like Homer Simpson as Sanitation Commissioner except the entire government is your garbage man, citizen & illegal alien alike.

From Freshman democratic congresswoman who flipped a heavily Cuban district in 2018.

As the first South American immigrant member of Congress who proudly represents thousands of Cuban Americans, I find Senator Bernie Sanders’ comments on Castro’s Cuba absolutely unacceptable.

The Castro regime murdered and jailed dissidents, and caused unspeakable harm to too many South Florida families. To this day, it remains an authoritarian regime that oppresses its people, subverts the free press, and stifles a free society.
